At Truist, our purpose is to inspire and build better lives and communities. That happens through real care to make things better. To meet client needs, to empower teammates, and to lift up communities.
Constant fees, late deposits early withdrawals from their automated system. Even worse after the fact their customer support was either rude or negligent

Came through the drive thru area to cash out a check from my job. I am not a truist member but my colleagues do this all the time with no problems. After waiting 15 minutes I finally got up there and they told me on speaker machine me and my colleague (that was with me) we would have to come in to cash it and gave no explanation as to why. As soon as we came in the manager was just starring as us weirdly not even a “Hey, welcome in” or anything just STARRING HARD. The lady was getting our money ready when I noticed they charged a $8 fee (told us AFTER depositing our checks not BEFORE) and explained we were non-truist members which usually my job covers that fee. Also said non-truist members have to come inside to cash checks and supposedly made that rule today all of a sudden per management. If this is the case they should have a sign up front or something. The atmosphere was unwelcoming and that whole interaction just rubbed us the wrong way. I will never step foot in this establishment AGAIN!!!!!

Came to this branch to add my husband onto my accounts, our experience was so awful in here that we ultimately decided to leave, close out all our accounts with Truist and take our money elsewhere. Hospitality is non existent and they are in no hurry to help you.

Great experience every time I go. All the tellers and branch manager are exceptional! I love seeing their leader come out to offer assistance.
