- JRJimmie RogersAug 18, 20251.0Used this bank for 3 years. Their big selling point is that you always speak with a person when you call. Which sound great, until you get a weird charge at 10 pm and the office is closed, or you lose your card and need to cancel it after hours. I also asked to not have any overdraft possibility at all. When I got a new bank, my account with First Bank somehow accrued $170 in overdraft fees. When I tried to add funds to my account online to clear it up, my checking account and it's negative balance had disappeared. I was unable to go into the branch that day, but I got a call the next day from someone saying my account was about to go to collections. 0 customer support. UPDATE: went in to close the account, apparently they only take cash which is whatever, but then the manager asked me to WALK through the drive thru ATM (I drove there). Awesome.
