Apparently, Quarters Are for the Elite Now.
Today I visited this Truist branch because I made the wild mistake of needing a few quarters. Well, silly me for thinking a BANK—the literal place that exists to exchange money—might actually, I don’t know, exchange money.
I pulled up to the teller window with a crisp $20 bill and asked, ever so humbly, “May I please have this in quarters?” What followed was a dramatic pause so long I thought I’d accidentally triggered a side quest. The teller glanced down at my peasant cash and, with the kind of solemn gravity reserved for medieval inquisitions, informed me after careful scrutiny that I was high enough status for them.
Apparently, in this gilded temple of finance, coins are no longer for commoners. They’re a VIP currency, reserved for those who have demonstrated their fiscal superiority by paying a $25/month maintenance fee.

Kelly sweet is absolutely the rudest person I have ever dealt with. When asking a question she will interrupt every time. In the middle of me asking for a document she will demand your ID. And she is the assistant manager!?!?
Kelly there is a lot of banks around, why treat people this way? Why try to win every argument instead of trying to resolve the issue? I bet she is undefeated in her mind. Wins every “battle” and acts like a child. Hopefully someone else can help me next time but the last 3 interactions were terrible
