At Truist, our purpose is to inspire and build better lives and communities. That happens through real care to make things better. To meet client needs, to empower teammates, and to lift up communities.
I would rate negative stars if allowed.
I had fraudulent activity on my business bank account, and have received very little assistance from the local branch and Truist Fraud department. In fact, just today, Truist charged my account, $245 in service fees, from the fraudulent activity, and I am unable to get any assistance to have the service fees removed. They will not answer the phone or return phone calls.
Poor business practice model and a very untrustworthy company.

I really don’t know where to begin so I’m just gonna start writing. I came into this location on Thursday, July 31, 2025. I was not distraught, but I was kind of upset because I was up there running an errand and I’m not from there and I needed gas and when I went to the gas station, I didn’t have any way to pay for it . so I went into Truist with no ID just my phone And this young gentleman (Tyler Stringer) asked me all the security questions. He asked me the amount I had in the bank he asked me what different accounts and after I satisfied him, and he knew I wasn’t trying to rob the bank or take away someone else’s money he handed me over enough to fill my car with gas. I am so thrilled with the way this young man treated me. He didn’t make fun of me. he didn’t laugh at me. He was very caring and he was truly concerned. He kept asking me if I was OK and I said yeah I’m just kind of frazzled because I was an hour almost 2 hours away from home with no ID no money I was I was scared.
I wish more people that worked with the public had this man’s attitude and the gift of caring about his customers. He is truly of asset to your corporation.👏👏👏👏🌟🌟

There were 2 elderly people in the bank at the same time I was there. The two tellers were mocking the elderly, rolling their eyes, and making fun of them directly in front of them. I have never been so ashamed to be a part of a bank. I will be taking my business elsewhere. Very disrespectful and unprofessional.

No issues at the branch at all, the ladies there are awesome and I love dealing with them. The reason for the 2 stars is the mobile app is a mess. It won't open, doesn't show correct information, it tells me it's always unavailable if I manage to get the app to load. Also, I run into issues with direct deposit from my place of work and money transfers from Venmo, I've triple checked my info for accuracy but SunTrust won't allow ACH/EFT. So I will probably switch my primary financial institution.
