But when I tried to access it last week they said they never got a copy of her death certificate. I've used the box since her death and took her name off accounts, these thing require a death certificate. So they had to have had one. Corporate confirms there is one in the file. The woman I was dealing with setup an appointment for the next Monday. Which was quickly cancelled and moved to Thursday. I can't call the branch. They don't answer and the call gets kicked over to corporate, who apparently has no control over the branches, or so they say. Showed up Monday morning to see the manager. She wasn't there and no one knew where she was or when she would be back. I was promised a phone call as soon as she returned. Phone call never came. I have a meeting with the lawyer tomorrow and no way to get into my box. I have at least 5 Wells Fargo accounts, and I am now searching for a new bank. Worst run bank branch I've ever encountered.
