  I took over my mother's safe deposit box when she died. And have been using it since then. But when I tried to access it last week they said they never got a copy of her death certificate. I've used the box since her death and took her name off accounts, these thing require a death certificate. So they had to have had one. Corporate confirms there is one in the file. The woman I was dealing with setup an appointment for the next Monday. Which was quickly cancelled and moved to Thursday. I can't call the branch. They don't answer and the call gets kicked over to corporate, who apparently has no control over the branches, or so they say. Showed up Monday morning to see the manager. She wasn't there and no one knew where she was or when she would be back. I was promised a phone call as soon as she returned. Phone call never came. I have a meeting with the lawyer tomorrow and no way to get into my box. I have at least 5 Wells Fargo accounts, and I am now searching for a new bank. Worst run bank branch I've ever encountered.

  My wife and I created a Living Trust and were advised by our lawyer and our accountant to change the beneficiaries on our savings and checking accounts to the trust. The first contact was with a smaller branch in High Point. These people had no clue as to what needed to be done and as a matter of fact told us that it was not necessary because the sums involved were so small. We left. We contacted a larger branch in Greensboro thinking that perhaps they had had more experience and would have someone that had done this before. In talking to the individual who answered the phone I was told that all of their bankers could handle change of beneficiary, but when I brought up that that was not the case in my previous experience she became defensive and rushed to set up an appointment "sometime next week". I told her that next week would not be good due to a surgery she said, "when you see when you can come in call us back". I have banked with this bank since it was Wachovia and have never seen the ineptitude nor the callous treatment of customers that I experienced on my last two contacts.

  I was a little nervous about coming to this location because of some of the reviews, but I had a really good experience. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Denise Edwards helped me open my account she explained everything clearly and made the process easy. I’m glad I chose this branch and definitely recommend it!

  Horrible experience first make me wait in line and then beacuse I’m not a Wells Fargo customer but my friend the one give me the check is been for years they didn’t want to cash a $200 check complete discrimination and racist and complete horrible customer service. I was thinking on opening an account with this bank will never open one. This people are a complete disaster and liars.
