The teller was very knowledgeable
He was the only one working the front and drive thru and he was very courteous and took the time to treat everyone with patience and answered all questions. He didnot try to rush anyone. Great work ethic

Douglas was quick to say he could do nothing to help me. His supervisor advised him to have me (the customer) call an outside Truist department to resolve my own issue. While at the bank, I called the phone number provided and the call went to a Truist department that is not even allowed to talk directly to customers. Neither Douglas nor his supervisor was aware of that. Poor training at every level and poor customer service all the way around. Left without a resolution.
***UPDATE: This morning I went to the Friendly Center branch and had a representative that actually cared about addressing my issue. Within 10 minutes she had reviewed my account history and had freed up funds on a large check that was on hold. Problem solved easily by analyzing my account, looking at past deposit history, and treating me like a valued customer. I highly recommend that you go to the Friendly Center location rather than waste time trying to solve any problem using the staff at the Market Street branch.

I would like to commend the exceptional leadership and customer service provided at this branch. Assistant Vice President Adrien and his team member Dug demonstrated a high level of professionalism, integrity, and understanding of the importance of ethics and diversity within the financial industry.
I had an urgent need to establish a new account, and Adrien went above and beyond to ensure that all my needs were met. He took the time to guide me through the process thoroughly and made sure I was comfortable and well-informed every step of the way.
Both Adrien and Dug exemplify the kind of financial leadership that is essential in today’s rapidly changing landscape, where AI and online banking often replace human interaction. Their dedication makes in-person banking not only worthwhile but truly valuable.
