A not-for-profit financial cooperative owned by its members, SECU has been providing employees of the State of North Carolina and their families with consumer financial services for over 80 years.
I have been a SECU member for many many years. Recently, I had the worst experience. I was trying to make a cash deposit outside. It would not take it, it was shoving the money back at me. So, I decided to go in. I had my five pound dog with me when I went inside. When I got to the counter the teller spoke immediately stating that she could not and would not assist me in making a deposit, due to me having my dog with me. I was shocked! I stated that I had taken my dog inside several different locations and that I have never had any issues before. I told her that I had problems outside trying to make the deposit and that was the only reason for coming inside. She could have cared less about the problem I had outside. I walked out, but went back in. When I did, two other females that were there. They said nothing and offered no solution to the problem, of trying to just make a deposit. Bad, Bad Customer Service This is the WORST BRANCH IN NC. How dare you not assist me due to a five pound dog! YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOUR LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! If it were not for my mother being a member, I would change banks. WILL NEVER GO TO THIS LOCATION AND MY HOME IS DOWN THE STREET!!!!! Ridiculous!!!!! Location near Public Grocery Store in Jamestown

I rate five stars , except there's one teller who needs training how to treat customers (no Hello, nor any other words , even a remark of any type.)
I have been to his counter the last two weeks, Always the same sad disposition.
