- IIIanJan 14, 20251.0Avoid this bank & this location as if it were the plague! I opened an acct with FNB, & within 1 week, having not even received my card in the mail, my acct was hacked... I've had the acct for 2 yrs, hacked thrice, & I only use it for savings. FF to this year, it's August & I deposit a check for $800, & go on about my business. 3 months later, I get $800 taken from my account with no contact from the bank. I contact them & no one has answers for why it happened & why I wasn't contacted prior to the deduction. 3 weeks later, I get an apology from the branch manager, but still no explanation as to why it happened. The check cleared, but I'm told there was a bank error, so they'll do an investigation & call me back before it goes to collections. Guess what, they didn't, & now I've got them on my credit & I still haven't heard from the branch manager. It's been since August, & they haven't given me an answer. Other FNB locations have looked into it, but THIS BRANCH is the issue, so they are the only location that can fix it. Other branches have no explanation for the deduction, have been shocked at the lack of communication & have emailed her to reach out to me & resolve this. Silence Now I have to escalate it to their corporate office. If you have the extra time for a bank to lose your acct numbers & randomly withdraw money with no explanation, feel free to become a member of FNB. They should have room for new members, with a 2.9 rating & the loss of another member, today.
