  I will say from my 20 years of experience with Wells Fargo. This is definitely the best Wells Fargo in Gaston County. I have always been treated respectfully and cheerfully and the entire staff here is over the top. They should send someone to their Belmont Abbie office to re-train Belmonts employees to have manners and respect the customers at the Belmont location because it’s terrible over there. I finally had to pull all my savings over $300K due falling interest rates from 5% to less than .005% I had to make the switch from Wells Fargo to Truist banking.

  I had to take my mom to get help with her account and even though you would hope that you don't encounter racism as much these days, it does exist still unfortunately in some people. We were told to wait because the lady had an appointment that was running late. Another person walked in and went to the and lady and she helped him right away. So when he left we went and asked her if he was the appointment she told us she never showed and she was just about to help us. The proper thing would have been to tell the man to wait and help us if the appointment didn't show and explain the same thing to him. I used to work in a bank for over ten years, there's poor customer service and then there's just other issues. I once worked in a bank where I spent an entire day with no customers because they didn't want my service just because I looked different than they did. The lady could have just have poor service but perception is 90 % of our reality if not more and it sure seemed like it had nothing to do with poor service. We also watched her interaction with other customers as well as another financial advisor walked past us to speak to a customer and offer them help when she walked in after us. My mom has had the account over 30 years beginning when the bank was first union but guess her money don't matter. She said she's tired of the poor service overall and finally closing all 3 of her accounts with them.

  Only been a customer for a couple of months. I will be leaving shortly. They really dont care about their customers from my several experiences. I think I will go to a home town bank where they are there for me.
