- CHCasey HelmsDec 26, 20251.0Very disappointed!! I walked in to discuss a home equity loan. Two ladies were each sitting in an office up front. One was having what seemed lime a personal conversation with someone stand in her doorway. The other was just straightning up her desk. Even once her conversation was finished, neither lady said a word to me. In fact they both acted as if they were avoiding eye contact at all cost. At teller finished with their client and asked if they could help. I approach their window and said i wanted to discuss a home equity loan, he said that he didn't have anyone to help me at the moment. I asked about the 2 ladies up front and he said they had appointments in about 7-8 minutes. He said soonest the could speak to me was Monday afternoon. So in the 4-5 minutes i was standing in the lobby and the 5-6 minutes before their next appointment, they couldn't be bothered to even speak to me! There was no one else in thw lobby, so their appointments were probably running late anyway. Extremely Non personal service if you ask me. Someone else is getting my business.

About a year later, Truliant drained both accounts with service fees, then refused to let me close them over the phone unless I paid the balance — while also rejecting my EFT payment to do so. They’ve continued charging fees while I’ve been unable to get to the branch due to work and family commitments. Very disappointing and predatory behavior for a credit union.

We were asked to open a savings account - we did - but then learned about the many great opportunities Truliant offered to consumers. It's not a bank... for us it seems to have taken the place that banking used to be.

We got our wire transfer info only about an hour and a half before closing on our house, and she went above and beyond to make sure it went through in time. Charmaine was calm, professional, and super helpful through the whole process. She made something stressful feel easy, and thanks to her, we were able to close without any issues!
