Avoid This Teller - Rude and Unprofessional Experience** I am writing this review specifically to warn others about my experience with a teller named Erin at the First Citizens Bank in Fuquay Varina. My interaction with her was so shockingly poor that I feel it's my duty to save others the frustration. From the moment I stepped up to her window, Erin was dismissive, short, and incredibly rude. She barely made eye contact and greeted me with a sigh, as if I were inconveniencing her by being a customer. I had a simple transaction to complete—one I’ve done a dozen times at this very branch—but she made it feel like I was asking her to solve a complex math problem without a calculator. Her attitude was completely unprofessional. She spoke over me when I was asking a clarifying question and gave one-word answers that were utterly unhelpful. There was no customer service smile, no "please" or "thank you," just pure indifference laced with annoyance. It was clear she had no interest in helping me or anyone else who might have the misfortune of being in her line. Do not waste your time neither money going to this branch if you see Erin working. I strongly recommend you go to a different teller or, better yet, a different bank entirely if you want to be treated with basic respect. The entire experience was frustrating and left a terrible taste in my mouth about First Citizens Bank for allowing an employee with such a clear contempt for customers to represent them. Save yourself the headache and avoid her at all costs. You've been warned
- IFIan FarrellAug 6, 20251.0I’ve been a long time customer at First Citizens but lately I’ve been trying to do some personal business in my accounts and suddenly they are blocking all my accounts and think they are protecting me. It’s not about protecting me, it’s about keeping my money as long as they can to make more money off it. Even when I tried to transfer my money to another bank it was blocked. They are disgraceful and I’m now taking my business to another bank who know how to treat their customers with respect.
