4/2/25: Closed my account without warning, provided no timeline for when my money will be returned to me. It’s been 3 weeks. Went to the branch and stood in line beside someone else whose account was closed for no legitimate reason.
4/22/25: update- no response from Truist after the bank accepted a death gratuity check and life insurance policy following a family members DEATH. Added insult to injury for a grieving family. This must be illegal. I now understand why people don’t trust banks… they really do steal your money.

I went into the branch, Sylvia threw a fit that I need to come in when they open. No ma'am I am a customer, I can come in whatever time I am available to come in. I did not like the way she was talking about me so I can hear it. They do not appreciate their customers. Point blank period.

I would never go inside, they only care about the drive thru speed. I waited 20 minutes while they helped at least 8 cars. I was inside with 4 other customers behind me in line.

BB&T has got bad over the last few years. Service has gone downhill and speed is horrible. Been with them for almost 20 years and am seriously considering changing to another bank. It’s always the same excuse as to why they are slow. And they have never done anything for me except keep my money. I would seriously do my homework when choosing a bank as this one might not be the best choice. I will say Crystal did make an effort to speed things along but it goes way past this one service experience.

I hate this branch! Google needs to make 0 an option. I never come here for anything good like obtaining other products from them no it's always something they messes up on. From the fact that you cannot get money at the drive through to the fact that they change your PIN number at random. I just came in here and it took a banker almost 8 min to acknowledge me. One gentleman sat in the office and looked like his feet was kicked up, he looked very relaxed in a professional environment. Another lady walked pass me never greeted me got whatever she needed and continued about her business. REMIND YOU I WAS THE ONLY ONE HERE! Nate was the exception once he realized I was in the lobby he was very friendly and assisted me fairly quickly. Every time I come in here it ls awful. This bank lacks forward thinking and there is no progression. I am going back to Wells Fargo were they at least try to think about convienencing the customer First.
