The bankers here are wonderful! Multiple great experiences over the last year. They always go above and beyond expectations.

We went there to open the checking account. The representative there helped us a lot. Even though we ended up not opening the account there, I liked their service.

Update 6/5/18 If I could give NO stars, I would. After 10+ years with Wells Fargo, I am done and taking my business elsewhere. Their ridiculous fees, like non Well Fargo ATM charges that just happened and no warning or letter, was eating at least $20 a month, online transfer fees when online banking and they love the $35 NSF fee which I was charged TWICE in the past two days, one was a transfer of money to MY PayPal then this an another one for a $11 transfer in-house to my other account on the 2nd, money was there transferee no problem, then today I’m charged AGAIN, then only thing they could do was a 25% return, $8 measly bucks!! Policy this and that my ass, cleaned out my account and that negative $58, they can eat it. I know they’ll try to collect it but I refuse to pay them anything else, don’t care about my credit. BYE!!!

For those who do not know it already, Wells Fargo is a reputable institution. On the West Coast they are a legend. They mean what they say, and they can protect you from trouble. I was travelling on the East Coast during this past Christmas season (as a medical itinerant not as a happy-go-lucky shopper !!). At some point I ran out of money, since even the modest motels are expensive for a disabled person ! The specter of homelessness and sheer desperation were about to become as real as all those gullible celebrations going around me in the wintry, solemn and unique city that is Durham, North Carolina. It was my 1st time there, travelling for medical reasons : I had heard Durham is calling itself “the Medicine City”. I was trying to cash some voucher venturous check, I literally stumbled into this WF store 3415 Westgate Dr, close to Target). A personal banker there, Ms. Becky Emmons took time to listen to my story, promptly assembled those bank products pertaining to my situation (a rebound credit score, no debts, a ‘dinosaur’ mortgage) matched them nicely and I was approved for a credit line that saved me from ending up in the street. Or having a mental collapse. Ms Becky Emmons offered such a pleasant banking experience : exemplary personification of the refined elite personal banker who remains loyal both to her clients and to her job. She encouraged me out of your worries with renewed hope : a pricele$ ingredient. I owe Wells Fargo my new life. It was an extremely precarious moment of my life, that winter. I think word “advantage” took a new meaning for me ever since. They have become also the friends and family that obviously I did not have. They renewed my confidence that I am not totally alone in this world, and that I will get help in the future as well. This is peace of mind, and I do not know anything more precious than this. Thank you, Wells Fargo ! Thank you Becky Emmons ! April 25, 2015
