My significant other went to this SECU today, July 14th to cash a check. He was wondering why it was taking so long to cash it. The cashier decided that she wanted to contact the bank that was on the check to make sure it was legit. She assumed that he had written to himself or whatever she may have thought. And he does banks with SECU and has NEVER HAD A PROBLEM WITH ANY OTHER SECU, until now.
I don’t like making it about race, but I am because some people can be so judgmental and ignorant. My significant other is a black male and she assumed that the check wasn’t legit. However, the sad part is that she was a black female. We are so against each other. And it’s pathetic and sad!! I’m happy to say that the manager did get involved and didn’t agree to what she did. Thank you for that!

Very slow service. I’ve never waited more than 15 minutes for someone to get to me as a walk in. Today I waited an hour watching employees walk right past me back and forth.
