This Truist is the worst I have ever visited, there are never more than to tellers available and one of those work the drive thru. There is always 4 or 5 employees wondering around the bank or in there little office with the door closed, no matter if the line is out the door those employees wouldn't look up to help or even knowledge your presence. I want be back!!

Recently went into Truist in Conover, NC where I have banked since they took the office over from BBT. I Asked about help with some of my debts. Little did I know that the Loan Officer Peggy Turner was going to get this 72 year old male in the worst financial situation of my life. I did not ask for a certain amount of money but she came up with me owing $67000 against my home with a 30 year loan. The odds of me living 30 years is very unlikely so why wiuld someone expect this from a 72 year old person. This is really causing a lot of stress in my life. There is no way I can make payments of $650 out of a Social Security check of $1500 and pay for all my utilities and living expenses. She became a preditor trying to collect all owed to the bank. She could care less about an elderly man losing his home. Both my children are deceased and I have no one I can turn to for help. I about died from Cellulitis and a blood infection in 2023 and currently have other health issues. At the same time this was going on with the loan the bank allowed 3 men who I did not know come in and open a 2nd checking account in my name without my knowledge. I was added as the 4th person on this account. When I found out I ask them to please close the account but I was told it could not be closed for 6 months and they were trying to remove the information from my credit report. Imagine being told that and I had nothing to do with the account being opened. My advice is to not bank at this branch of Truist or maybe any branch. How can such things go on at a bank. I thought they were regulated. It has been reported but so far there has been no positive news of getting the loan dropped or getting the 2nd checking account closed.

On the branch level, their manager is never available. And if Monica answers the phone, just hang up. She's not going to let you talk anyway and will constantly interrupt and try to pick an argument. On a national level, BB&T's new call centers are located in India. They outsourced thousands of American jobs to save a buck. Thanks. Love, Your friendly neighborhood unemployed veteran.
