Everytime I need to take out money or deposit the atm is never working. I have to drive all the way to Garner when I live in Clayton! This has made me want to close my account with them for this reason. Please fix your ATM or put 2 ATM

For some odd reason, they never answer their phones. So if you need to get in contact with them you’ll have to go in person.

I’m not sure of the older white woman who worked the drive thru but she completely lied to my face and told me the branch did not have any temporary cards at all so I waited 30 minutes and decided to walk in because I felt she was lying and on the inside they gave me a temporary card. Lying to customers who have business accounts for years with Truist is not a good look.

Terrible customer service. They don’t care and gave me incorrect information about my business account, which resulted in bank fees. I called customer service to request a refund and after almost 45 minutes was told I have to back to the branch to request a refund. The phone rep refused to let me speak with someone above her and when I told her how displeased I have been with the entire experience, she hung up on me. I will be going into the branch to get a refund and will be moving my accounts.

Frequently Asked Questions About Truist

Do you need a debit card and checks? A safe place to save money you’ve earned? Or both? Check out our checking and savings account options to find the best one for you.

Checking accounts are used for day-to-day transactions, like buying something online or at a store with a debit card, sending money digitally, writing a rent check, or depositing cash and checks. Savings accounts are more of a one-way street—a place to deposit money to save up for a goal or emergency fund.

You can open your new account any way you want. (Note that Truist CDs can only be opened at a branch.)

Online: Get started right away by opening your account online. You’ll have to wait a few days for your debit card and checks to arrive by mail—or you can visit a branch to get a temporary debit card ASAP. Branch: Visit a branch near you during business hours to open your new account. Bonus—you’ll walk out with a ready-to-use temporary debit card with your new checking account.
