I still remember when they was under fire for fraud committed by their own employees for opening up false accounts. Don't bank here. Go to a bank that's not greedy for any money that they can get out of you.

- JCJakita CoferAug 15, 20201.0I have been a loyal customer of Wells Fargo for nearly 20 years and I visited this particular branch last week to deposit an $11,000 check into my savings account and the branch manager told me that he could not deposit my check due to a reason that he could not disclose. I asked the manager the reason why the check could not be deposited, and he refused to provide me with an answer or explanation. I had to drive to another Wells Fargo branch at 2821 Pineville-Matthews Rd, Charlotte, NC 28270, which is about 15-20 minutes away from my home, and they had no problem depositing the check into my savings account within five minutes, which cleared the next day. Clearly, there was nothing wrong with my check since another branch was able to deposit it, so why wasn't my check deposited at this location? Makes you wonder, right?! I was insulted, frustrated, and even perplexed as to why I was treated this way by this Wells Fargo branch. I felt that I was discriminated against and racially profiled at this location for absolutely no reason at all. I should not have to drive 20 miles away from my home to deposit a legitimate check and be treated with dignity and respect. I will be closing my accounts ASAP.
