I called regarding a charge on my account that I didn't authorize, they said it was a claim fee for filing a false claim. I tried to explain to the agent that the claim wasn't false, rather a misunderstanding between me and the merchant which has been resolved. When I tried to ask the agent if they would be willing to waive the claim fee he began to belittle me, told me all the things I did wrong and talking over me. I finally gave up and hung up the phone. I have never felt so degraded in my life. I am a single parent and $60 may not be a lot to some but to me it's the difference between having groceries for the week or not. As soon as I am able I'll be closing my accounts.
