At Truist, our purpose is to inspire and build better lives and communities. That happens through real care to make things better. To meet client needs, to empower teammates, and to lift up communities.
Before the merger, my BB&T branch used to be a beautiful building. The nearby Suntrust branch was in an inconvenient spot, and too small, so logically, I figured they would keep the building that was in good shape. Instead, they SOLD the nice one and forced us customers to deal with the awkward driveways of a location that inherent with traffic. What's worse: they FAILED TO DO THE RESPONSIBLE THING -- use the real estate profits to renovate the decrepit building. All these years later, the building is in a disgraceful state. Peeling wallpaper, with mild visibly present under the carpet and behind the walls. This is an unhealthy place to work!! These poor employees-- and they have GREAT employees! Truist apparently appreciates neither it's workers nor is customers, in forcing us all to put up with a location like this. Horrible, horrible company. Shameful conduct in their part.

This Truist branch was unbelievably slow. I stood in line forever for a simple transaction.. on a Friday, no less. There were only 2 tellers, and one 1 them was doing drive-thru only, which left a single person handling a long line of frustrated customers inside the bank.
The transaction ahead of everyone seemed complicated, and I don’t fault the teller:: he was clearly doing his best. But what made it worse was the complete lack of communication. No one acknowledged the wait, no apologies, no “we’ll be with you soon.” Just silence and irritated looks all around from customers.
Another employee briefly came out from the back just to vanish again without offering any help. The drive thru teller didn’t even glance at the growing line or attempt to reassure us. It’s like they’ve gotten used to people being upset.
I now understand why this location is sitting at 2 stars. Definitely earned

We got here at open and we spend about an hour just to process a wire transfer not sure if this is normal or not but it shouldn't. The guy helping my fiance and I is ridiculously old. Anyway thanks a lot Barry for wasting an hour of our lives almost and we were the first customers there

Banked here for 10 years. Met with a loan officer / manager who was the most chauvinistic person I ever met (he thought he was "muy macho"). He talked down to me as if I were a child without a brain. It was like a throw-back to the 1950s! He has no idea how to do business with American women. I immediately took my business to another bank - successfully, I might add.
