If I could give no stars, I would. This is the worst bank I have ever dealt with. Their 24-hour customer service support is inadequate. I was unable to resolve issues such as resetting my PIN, allowing transactions to go through while I was out of town, and disputing charges for canceled flights. I needed support for these banking matters, but I encountered so much hassle just to fix the smallest details.
I am closing my account, and if you are considering this bank, I hope this gives you some insight and helps you avoid opening an account here. It has been a huge waste of time.
I initially liked this bank because of its app features, like the ability to lock and unlock my card, deposit checks through the app, and send money via Zelle. However, those benefits are not enough to outweigh the frustrations I've experienced. It's ridiculous that I have been banking with them for three years and still can't get the smallest issues resolved.

The staff was friendly and courteous but very short-staffed with long waits.

I came into branch on a Saturday, at approx 11:45am (closes at 12pm). I needed smaller bills instead of $20s. The teller would not assist me until I provided my debit. That is not client nor customer friendly service to me.
Also why don't Truist have a department (or someone) to address issues that are brought up in this forum? At very minimum provide an email of someone I can reach out to.
