There is no benefit to banking here, not everyone, but most of the employees are lazy and do there bare minimum and thats just not the type of work ethic you want with people that are going to manage your money

By far the absolute worse banking experiences I have had in my entire life. I went to high school at Ardrey Kell right down the street and when I got my first job back in 2016 I started banking here; when I was in college I started a credit card, didn't really have any benefits like other competitors so I decided to do the honest thing and pay it off, never disputed any transactions, just simply paid my dues, as a young man I wasn't aware closing my only line of credit would hurt my score. you would think people you been banking with for so long would take 2 seconds to tell you that but no (there competitors do tho). EVEN AFTER THAT, I still continued to bank with them until most recently, my card was stolen and over 2000$ in fraudulent purchases were made out of the country (IN BRAZIL). although I was able to get 1500$ back, I had to file a dispute for the remaining 500$ transaction. even though I was in NC at the time, and I had purchases in the state proving I wasn't in brazil, they still denied my claim. KEEP IN MIND that this was the first claim I had made with this bank in almost 10 YEARS!!!!!! I'm 25 year old now and take it all as a learning experience, I don't even write google reviews, but I HAD to take the time out of my day to warn anyone young in Ballantyne area to stay away from this bank, plenty of other banks will at least do the bare minimum and provide you with conducive recommendations of what there bank has to offer, as well as give direct deposit bonuses for first time members, but this bank IS THE ABSOLUTE WORST OPTION IN THE AREA.

Joe went above and beyond to help me with my finances and loan. He took the time to explain everything clearly, shared his knowledge, and did everything he could to make sure I got what I needed. As a teacher, money can be a tough and even uncomfortable topic—especially when you don’t have a lot of it—but Joe made the process approachable and stress-free. He is knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely cares about helping. Thank you, Joe—you are awesome!
