A not-for-profit financial cooperative owned by its members, SECU has been providing employees of the State of North Carolina and their families with consumer financial services for over 80 years.
By far the worst branch to do business all they want to is hold your money and make it difficult to deposit money and move money. You can't transfer money to other members to the branch. Horrible

Totally understand the bad reviews now. They either have an issue with doing their job or routing you to the right resource. Then when you have been through the holding patterns, a few times, they just hang up on you.

Absolutely terrible customer service please save the trouble and go to the one on popular tent, I spoke with two woman who had extreme attitudes, failed to speak in complete sentences, and what seemed like lack of knowledge of their jobs. Then when I finally go in person I was met by a rude man who lacked proper greeting skills which is odd for a front desk worker definitely felt like racial profiling I am a professional woman and expect professionalism at all times this was classless truly disgusted, do better.
