  I went to this bank to open up a checking account and discuss other options I have, but was ignored by the guy that sits in the second office to the left, when you walk in the bank. I walked in and instantly felt’s uncomfortable. There was two people working the teller area and one guy sitting in the second office on the left side. I was the only person there so there should not have been a wait. The teller asked could he help me? I said I wanted to open a checking account, he started typing something for a while without asking me any questions or trying to explain the checking account or other services they offer, he just said you can have a seat and he will be with you in a couple minutes. This was at 1:40pm no one was in the bank but me and them. They were all Yt and I was the only black woman. The guy in the office came out and said I will be with you in a moment, I said okay thank you! He went and started talking to the tellers, a couple minutes later he went back in his office grab some papers and went back and continued to talk to the tellers while I sat there. No one said it will be another minute or anything to me, they were up there enjoying their conversation and laughing. After realizing I have sat there almost 20mins. I got up and walked out the door. No one said bye, hey are you still interested in a bank account or anything they just watch me walk out and continued talking amongst themselves. That was most definitely unprofessional customer service and all of them should be fired or retrained. They need to know they are located on the Westside and will have to deal with African Americans customers. I feel those people that were in there today 08/29/2025 at 1:40pm were racist! This need to be called out for no other customers has to feel racially profiled or neglected going into this establishment! I will take my money elsewhere. I work at different races everyday and I treat all customers the same. #Equalopportunity My black people do not support this location, find a different location where they are going to treat us right! I wish I could give the ZERO stars!

  My first visit to this branch was outstanding. Very friendly people that provided service with a smile.

  If I could give zero, i would have these people have no manners and treat customers like we are below them. Try calling for half an hour just to repeatedly being ignored and put on hold, then they finally answer with a shitty attitude like your interrupting their day and still continue to get put on hold for another 10 minutes. Please steer clear of this place, especially if you have business accounts, as I have found they are extremely untrustworthy. PROCEED AT YOUR OWN RISK. Edited a day after this review, and im locked out of my online account now.

  Horrendous customer experience - do not recommend. Very cold and artificial you do not feel like a person, just someone to get off the phone or in and out.

  The worst branch in Charlotte. They're slow, have no sense of time, urgency or consideration. Ive come here so many times because I work on this side of town and I regret coming here everytime. The Notary doesnt notarized a dag on thing, she's so particular when it comes to Bill of Sales or Titles or even Acknowledgments. Basic documents. Both times I left and had to go to Charlotte Metro Credit Union and a notary has me in and out. Your wait time in line is unnecessarily long. It will be a total of 2 customers...why am I in here for 20mins for a simple deposit. Horrible.
