A not-for-profit financial cooperative owned by its members, SECU has been providing employees of the State of North Carolina and their families with consumer financial services for over 80 years.
This location is constantly rude and unprofessional. They questioned my employment and went as far to call my employer to ask if my work is worth the money they pay me. Even when my employer let them know their questioning was out of line they continued to try and question me. Whenever I cash my checks they don’t even bother giving me an envelope despite the large amount of bills. They are rude when they speak to you and ask questions. I’ve tried speaking to the manager about this but they covered for their employees saying it was a “misunderstanding”. There is another location down the street, please do yourself the favor and go there.

Don't go to this branch. If you have to go to SECU, which is bad enough. avoid this misogynistic, racially insensitive branch. I expect more from a Chapel Hill bank.
