- JGJon GillisOct 18, 20231.0Teller had me endorse a check and then refused to cash it because he "didn't have the cash" Lying undertrained staff creates security risks for clients then smiles about it without apology. Completely ridiculous behavior. Avoid these clowns. Then the manager calls to discuss the issues at 522 on a Friday admitting the check was completely legitimate and I shouldn't have been treated that way yet has no actual solutions to the problem. Just wasted 33 additional minutes of my life on their bank for absolutely no personal gain or resolution. They strong armed into creating an account with their horrible institution.

I've gone in to do some simple withdrawals/deposits/etc there - even shamefacedly broke a 20 once - and the front desk is chipper and eager to help. Lively and welcoming environment regardless of the day or time. Just popped in today to start a savings account and they were tremendously helpful and thorough in getting me started. Switched from SunTrust and I'm happier I did every day! SunTrust had nice branch employees, too, but First Citizens backs theirs up with quality financial options and plans that fit my needs. SunTrust didn't. Thanks FC!
