I was told I needed 2 FORMS of ID, that's more than TSA requires with real IF and that is have to pay a $10 fee. I bank with competitor but I would have willing opened an account with this 1k if some cared to engage me but no one did. I was dirty and a nuisance. I felt judged by the way I was dressed. I brought 2 other people with me searching for the same resolve. It never came. Money grab. Wells Fargo wants free money or you to lock in for your funds.

I wanted to open an account, they said I needed an appointment because it takes 1 hr to set up a new account. Made an appointment for the following day. I show up the next day, they had a line to the door, so they made me wait, about 20-25 minutes. Finally when they got to me I told them I wanted to open a business account, and they were like oh sorry we can't help you it takes an hour and a half to open a business account, wish you would've told us that yesterday. I've worked in banking before, opening accounts, business and personal, not sure what kind of accounts they are opening because it absolutely does not take over an hour to open an account. Also if they have different procedures to open different types of accounts why wouldn't they ask you when you set up an appointment? How is a customer to know they take an extra half hour to open a certain type of account. Terrible customer service. Why even set up appointments if they are going to make you wait so other customers don't have to?
