- JHJoe HaganOct 27, 20255.0First Bank in Black Mountain NC received a windfall profit when, after the closing of the local branch of Truist Bank, many of those employees made the trek across Hwy 70. These ladies were the reason I banked with Truist (who made a monumental error in closing their branch) and now bank with First Bank! They provide exceptional, friendly service and work for an excellent state/regional bank offering virtually everything I have previously enjoyed with other banks.

Twice they have randomly stopped auto-payment on my car insurance without reason. Customer service is very unhelpful
