I've had the most stressful experience with this company and I worked with the manager, Matt. I let him know the details of my situation and applied for a loan. Unfortunately, their company doesn't have a loan program that I was looking for and Matt even admitted he made a mistake. Now, I am having to deal with disputing the hard credit pull with all 3 credit bureaus just having to learn that I can't dispute the credit pull unless it had to do with fraud. Thank you for not only NOT listening to a borrowers needs through a very stressful experience as it is to find a loan, but now having to deal with my credit score being effected. I highly DO NOT recommend this institution in assisting with anyone trying to find a loan.

I've had an account with BB&T for many years. Never a problem with my account due to overdrafts, low balance, etc. I work full time and make a good living which is direct deposited into my account every two weeks. I dont live paycheck to paycheck. That said my wife works for a small business with only a few employees. They are still paid the old fashion way via paper check. Today I attempted to deposit her check into the account as I have done many times in the past and was advised by the teller that I could not deposit the check unless my wife was with me. I explained to the teller I have been depositing her checks for some time but she still wouldn't deposit it for me. Glad I drove 15 miles out of my way to the bank on the way to work for nothing. Teller told me it was a new policy. I've never received notice of this policy and BB&T sends me emails about once a week. I could see refusing to deposit a check for someone with a questionable past in regards to their bank account but an established customer whose never had an issue? I used to think BB&T was great. Now, not so much!

Everyone is incredibly helpful there minus one girl there Amber, short brown hair. She clearly doesn't value bank relationships and wouldn't help me with something that I've been helped with 5 times before. She also had a attitude and was very rude.
