I'm encountering inflexibility, and what I think is a mix of corporate slave mentality and/or a mentally self-enslaved manager. I am frustrated that I can't access my own data from last year. Here's what I wrote the branch manager: "wow it sucks that you are either enslaved by the asheville savings bank or by your own mind to the point that you can't help someone who needs it. especially someone who was a banking customer for several years. it's also bad policy on the part of a company to refuse to help customers in need. i hesitate to curse you directly because i know it's bad luck for everyone concerned. i hope these blockages dissolve, and know that i hate the system that makes you and i such slaves." Sheri wrote me: "The charge for statement copies is a standard fee and is disclosed in our terms and conditions.
