At Truist, our purpose is to inspire and build better lives and communities. That happens through real care to make things better. To meet client needs, to empower teammates, and to lift up communities.
Expect exceptionally long waits. I thought it was maybe the time of day or something. 6 months later, it's still terrible.

Will be pulling all my funds out as soon as possible. Spoke to them about a possible loan. Was told to get rid of all my collections, which I did, then reapply. Followed these instructions and they came back with another decline. All I got from them were 2 hard inquiries to my credit which will stick for 2 years and my credit is in good shape. Hopefully this won't hurt that. They don't have bankers with any actual financial knowledge or any real desire to help their clients. On top of that, they've more than once cut my access to my own finances. This happened on a Saturday after 5pm so I had to wait 40 hours to be able to have access to my own money. Over all this has just been a god awful experience from top to bottom. Severely understaffed if you have any reason to go inside. I've gone up and down the list in my mind of anything at all I could say positive about this bank but there is absolutely nothing. They fall short in each and every category. Cashapp and Chime are better options than Truist. I sincerely mean that. If I could give zero stars I would.

Since they became truist, it has just gone down the toilet. You can never get anyone on the phone. The lines during "peak hours" are just outrageous. They are so understaffed it's not even funny. Even the business side is slack. I started my business with this bank and at first, it was fine and dandy until I needed a business loan. I did the correct steps and waited for literally weeks for a response. I waited for 2 months. I called my banker and was told the loan officer was backed up a little. After reaching out multiple times and at the 3rd month mark I just went to a different bank and had an answer on my business loan in less than an hour. I don't recommend this bank to anyone. It's sad. They used to be the bank to go to. Now, I would take a higher APR on my loans just to transfer my loans to a different bank

This bank is absolutely ridiculous. You have 2 lanes for the drive thur service outside, and there is only one person working both windows. And why does it take them 45 mins to almost an hour just to get anything done from this bank. Just bad over all customer service.
