    Been my bank since I was 16, they have always been helpful and polite, just wish their was a branch in Thomasville.

    I would advise anyone considering First Citizens in general to think twice. I have had a business account with them for 2 years and constantly having issues being charged many times when I wasn't supposed to be. Most recently I sold a truck in which I had the loan through First Citizens, the payment was also Auto drafted through First Citizens account. When the truck was paid off they still withdrew a truck payment. Upon going to the bank and investigating the issue I was told that even though it was a First Citizens loan and the money was taken out of a First Citizens account they would be refunding the truck payment amount as well as the overdraft amount in the form of a check being sent from Raleigh rather than being deposited into my account. The check had supposedly been sent out two weeks prior to me investigating the issue. They held the check for 10 days before actually sending it out. So in short First Citizens is holding almost $600 of my money hostage because they took a payment that they were not supposed to withdraw. Then once actually receiving the payment I will have to take time out of my day as well as gas to get to the bank to deposit the check. I feel very fortunate to do my personal banking with State Employees Credit Union.
