The manager and the teller were both extremely rude. Never in my years have I experienced this kind of treatment from bank staff, for asking a question. Will be doing my banking elsewhere now.

I'll start off with I am new to TD , I have banked with BMO for the last 15 years. I needed a fresh start & after a long discussion with about 30 friends TD had the most votes, so here I am. Never in 15 years have I walked into a bank & felt anymore than a dollar sign or a criminal, Until I walked into the TD branch in woodstock. I waited in line , for maybe five minutes and then I was directed to sit down at a desk across from a lovely lady by the name of "Elizabeth(beth) Jones" , after the reviews I read on here I was alittle iffy but that feeling shortly ended after dealing with Beth. I could probably go on for quite sometime , but to leave things short & sweet; every bank needs a customer service representative/Teller like Beth, she was welcoming , polite & just happy to be at work. Not only did she make me feel like an actual client , but a friend. She made sure everything from start to finish went smoothly which after dealing with a bank that clearly didn't care about its customers made the whole transition so stress-free. Truly a breath of fresh air. So far so good with everything , no more checking my account every 5 minutes to make sure nothing is being debited to my account without permission, no more staying up until my pays come in to move it to another account so I make sure I actually get to see my pay cheque. My money is MY money again. And thank you Beth for the best first experience I could've asked for , I hope to continue my business here for years to come!

Spent 2hrs in there the first time to do a simple transfer of funds between a savings account and a mutual fund account. Whatever, the representative was nice. Then I notice that the funds had not yet moved after several weeks, so I call. The representative said "yeah you have to come in and re-fill the paperwork." The representative had not submitted the paperwork correctly. I live more than 30mins away from my local branch, and called ahead. I was told to come in at a certain time. I explained that I could not wait as I had my 2 toddlers with me. I would like to sign where I had to and leave. I was told that it wouldn't take long. Upon entering the branch, I was handed off to another representative because "it would be way quicker." And the one I had spoken to was running late. After the new representative had a chat with another employee for 15mins and made us wait an additional 15 mins, I gave up. I try to be accommodating and understanding. I am polite and I show up on time and I have worked in customer service.... that being said, I refuse to be treated like I really don't matter. Looks like I will be moving all of my investments and day-to-day banking to another bank. UPDATE: Spoke with branch manager who apologized and seemed sincere. She made a point to credit me for my troubles and seems to be actively taking steps to improve the branch. She is new in position as branch manager and I believe that, given some time, things may improve. I will still be considering other banks but I am willing to give them another shot at keeping my business. UPDATE #2: Just went back to make a simple transfer between RRSP accounts. After having a 45min web chat, e-signing all the paperwork and sending it in.... i get a call the next day to tell me that instead of transferring money between accounts, the bank representative redeemed money from RRSP account "A" into the bank's account and transferred the same amount out of RRSP account "B" into the banks coffers. Not only does this have tax implications, but the money did not go into any of my accounts. It just disappeared. I am now out double the amount of money of the transfer and have an early withdrawal on my RRSP account. It has been nearly a week since my initial appointment and I am still missing thousands of dollars. I tried to give TD another chance, but everytime I need anything done, they mess up. A dangerous mix of negligence and ignorance. BOTH times, the transactions were verified by "back office"... whoever that is. I get that people make mistakes, but when you're dealing with people's life savings, the margin for error is much smaller. When there's a host of mistakes everytime I need anything from the bank, that indicates work culture. The culture at this branch is obviously overly tolerant of lackluster performance at the literal expense of customers. TD, give me my money back. UPDATE #3: TD as a whole is a mess. Just closed down all of my accounts, investments and credit card and moved them all over to the Credit Union in Woodstock. TD is too busy pandering to special interest groups to focus on basic customer service and actual banking/investment. I've been with TD bank for over 20 years and they don't seem to care about my business. GOODBYE TD!!!

After well over 20 years of dealing with this Bank across canada the Woodstock branch finally did us in. We've had multiple loans and mortgages throughout the years but never once with td. They're not even interested in working with you. Even with a perfect credit rating score. Always have to go somewhere else. Recently tried to go for a loan there 23 days later still nothing. Went to a bank across the street three days later had the loan. The branch manager is probably the most unprofessional individual I have ever had the unfortunate opportunity to come across. And lori, should find a new line of work. If she doesn't want to be there she's ruining it for the customers. TD has been and always will be the worst possible bank. And Woodstock NB TD is as unprofessional as you can possibly get.
