- ASAlissia SmithDec 1, 20251.0The worst and most unwelcoming bank I've used. The moment you walk in all judging eyes are on you and make faces when you want your receipt for any transactions made. Along with the fact they are simply not willing to do their job. Like print direct deposit sheets or cash checks, which a bank should be able to do! I've never had a bank that makes me want to switch so fast!

But first interstate takes such a long time processing their shit that I had manged to go way over that limit. If their systems weren't flawed, that wouldn't have happened. "It updates real time" and "prove it." is what I got told last time I confronted the employees about the issue... You'd think the numbers would be proof enough... Only reason I still associate with this bank is because I'm bound by debt. They are a nightmare to do business with and I regret trying to work with them. If you know what's good for you, look elsewhere, first. Run.

I was surprised to find that another local bank did not offer personal loans, and wouldn't even return a call. I was able to get the loan I wanted through First Interstate, with excellent customer service and communication throughout.
