I noticed a review earlier about not earning any money during a period of time and as a banker I will say Fed Funds was basically zero for a period of 7-8 years, so no institution was offering over .5% for a MM for quite some time when rates were low so no one was earning anything on their savings at that time.

He left it sitting in the account for 6 plus months and it earned nothing. He is weak when it comes to the markets and investing, not very knowledgeable or aggressive. We love our new Edward Jones advisor.
