- IMIt's MEAug 3, 20251.0Warning: Heights Finance uses court manipulation to dodge accountability. My experience with Heights Finance has been extremely disappointing. The loan contract I signed clearly states that disputes must go through AAA arbitration, but when I initiated arbitration, Heights Finance did not pay the required fees or participate. Instead, they continued using aggressive court filings and repeated garnishments, even while claiming in court that no payments were received—despite months of bi-weekly wage deductions. Their refusal to follow their own contract caused unnecessary legal stress, confusion in court, and negative impact on my credit. They also used outdated contact information that was never on my application, which made communication impossible and created false claims that I was “unreachable.” In my opinion, Heights Finance needs to stop misleading borrowers with an arbitration clause they don’t honor and improve their honesty, communication, and credit reporting practices. I would not recommend this company to anyone based on my experience.
- LLLinda LangSep 17, 20221.0I would give no stars but that is not an option. Friday we were approved for the loan we needed. Credit reports pulled and approved. Saturday we went into the office to pick up the check and sign the papers. The district manager, over the computer messaging with the girl on the office, kept trying to talk us into more money than what we need. When we repeatedly decline and only agreed to the lower amount then he didn't like that very much. Needless to say we ended up leaving without the money that we needed. I will NOT be strong armed or bullied into making a bad financial decision. Josh Trenpohl is a very ignorant and impersonal businessman that does not care about his customers. I would NOT recommend that anybody deal with Heights Finance.
