  I gave this place so many chances. I started investing in 2024 with Stacy. Everything was fine until two months later when they stopped taking my investments (via auto pay). I asked why and Chantel (front desk lady?) told me it was due to “insufficient funds”. They didn’t even bother to call me to let me know I had “insufficient funds” nor was that even the truth. I talked to my bank and was told they didn’t even attempt to take my monthly investment, and was informed that I had more than plenty “sufficient funds”. They tried blaming me for their mistake. I forgave and moved on Fast forward to December 2025. I noticed they had stopped taking my monthly investments AGAIN. This time missing 3-4 auto pay investments. I assumed they had just been…doing their job?Monitoring my investments. I’m new to this whole investing thing and I trusted them. I never got a single phone call as to why they just stopped. So of course I’m the one who reaches out to them and Chantel tells me it was an error in their system this time as to why my investments weren’t being taken out but didn’t know why. She told me she would look into it and call me back. She did call me back this time like 30 min later…to verify my address. Funfact-I have not moved or changed addresses since I started investing at this location. She told me she would call me back again to tell me why my investments weren’t being taken out of my account. I did not get a call back from her. I waited almost two and a half weeks to be considerate of the holidays. I called again to see if Chantel found anything out. She told me their system denied my investments (what? You denied taking my money lol) but couldn’t tell me why. I’m not a “big time investor” by any means. Its little amounts but I’m young and I felt that trying to take care of my future self financially was a good move on my part. But they made me feel like I wasn’t important. I am speaking specifically about this Edward jones on Chipman. I am in the process of moving my investments to a different EJ branch and the guy I’m working with is AMAZING! I just wouldn’t go to this location. I experienced poor communication, getting blamed for something that was their fault, and they never even reached out for annual review. Stacy, my original advisor is no longer there-found that out by a Google search. They didn’t even bother to tell me the person that’s handling my money is no longer there and someone else would be doing it. Again, I only speak for THIS specific location. I’m sure other EJ branches are amazing!
