  If you need a cashier's check and don't have an account with them, they will not let you get one. Very frustrating!

  A half star is the real rating I would give! I needed a new bank acct for our new trust. But needed to use the notary services first. The manager & personal banker took it upon themselves to act as lawyers & tell me my documents were not complete. Stating they had right to refuse providing me the service, despite the notary rules stating otherwise. I tried to explain why the issues were correct, trying to communicate so. I was asked to leave, and I did with out my docs getting signed or a bank account for it. Only to goto Central bank of Branson & they had no issue with the line items Great Southern did. A total waste of our time for sure!

  Long story. Lien Release Story. So I sold my car with a lien on it. Called the bank and they said the release we could get same day or early next day if paid in cash. Cool so the buyer and I went to the bank and went to pay it off and they told us at the other branch by the Branson Landing that it has to be sent out via mail so it would be about 10-15 days. Buyer said it was inconvenient but agreed. So about 18 days after the buyer messaged me and asked what's going on. I haven't received the release yet. I called customer service and they said they sent it to the wrong address and that they would request an emailed copy sent out which could be declined otherwise send by mail. So I didn't get an email and it was about a week later. Very conflicting info between this branch and others. So today I called and great southern said that I had to call mytitlesupport.com to get another one or figure something out. So i call and mytitlesupport said that since it was paid off within 30 days that they couldn't help either but said "let me get on the phone with Great Southern and we'll figure this out". So i thought to myself great were getting somewhere. Finally. Well kind of. Got transferred to Hannah at this 248 Branch in Branson. After her kind of reiterating what the previous person said then adding to we can't really do much till we get the lien release returned from the wrong address and being less that 30 days no one can really help but she would ask her supervisor being I went thru all of this and feeling super guilty that someone that bought a car from me almost a month ago cant drive it till I get them this release. Finally good news she got her supervisor to do something to where they would request an emailed copy sent my email! Thank the Lord! Hannah saved the day but the other 5 or 6 people giving misinformation or coincidentally being ignorant about what could be done and what couldnt is just not acceptable. Hannah turned a BBB complaint into a google one because there needed to be some ramification for the mistreatment for 95% of this process. Summed up Don't get auto loans if you plan needing a lien release quickly.

  I paid off two vehicle loans with them. With a overage of $4500.00 for early pay off. They set on my money for over two weeks drawing interest off of it. And still waiting for reimbursement. Will never use them again . And I will even go as far to say . If you are going to pay off any loan with Great Southern Bank make sure you do it with cash and to the penny. Because if it is a check from any other financial institution . They set on it to make interest on your money.

  We have been dealing with this branch since 2007. What make a bank great is the personal relationship between there customers and the management. The management of this branch is tops.
