Their banking app is Web 1.0, circa 2010 (eg., literally there's no page refresh functionality, you need to fully close the app and then reopen it, and wait while it sloooooowly loads your accounts again) I hate it. And, inexplicably, there's a wholly separate Blaze 'Cards' companion app for handling your credit. I'm not sure i understand just why this business isn't done in the main banking app. Regarding this location: It has no human tellers, just a couple walls full of ATMs. There's a cluster of cubicles though, situated such that you can't tell whether there are any occupants. If you call out, a person will appear, but they will be a banker, not a teller. They can't act as tellers for you, only they will guide you to one of the ATMs and get you started that way. If you want to do business a banker specifically — again, the only human beings on-site — you'll need to make an appt. I did once need to book time with a banker though, her name was Angela Davis and she was great (it must be mind-numbing and demeaning for these employees to spend at least some portion of their workday getting up from their desk to guide baffled clients to giant ATM machines, all while answering the same painfully obvious questions, namely, "So there really aren't any living bank tellers here??" Once again, it ain't the workers that blow, it's the executives, and this ridiculous capitalist trend of expecting year-on-year growth, which almost certainly always met at the expense of anything resembling quality products or happy customers. My family— seriously meaning my grandparents, parents, two of my aunts, and two of my sisters— had been with Hiway Federal Credit Union (pre Blaze merger) for something like 50 or 60 years, but i'll be changing credit unions as soon as i can afford the time to do it.

Do you need to visit an ATM to do a simple cash withdrawal? This is not the location for you to visit. In the past month I have visited this location on a weekend at least four different times only to find that one or both of the ATMs were not functioning. No signs indicated that the ATMs were unavailable. Nearly every time I tried to make a cash withdrawal at an ATM that said it was open, I would go through every step of the transaction process only to receive a receipt saying that the transaction was canceled. I suppose it's really Shame On Me for expecting this Blaze location to be able to provide a basic level of reliable ATM service. Skip this location and visit any other location for semi-dependable service.

What a horrible place to bank that provides little communication and charges extra fees that feel fraudulent.

Not all things should be virtual. When I go to make a cash desposit, I do not want to put it into a machine while trying to get the person on screen to understand what I need. When I went in I expected to talk to a real live human being, easily communicate what I needed, hand my cash to said human being, and have it done while enjoying the experience of face to face human interaction. Instead I was directed to a machine, told to talk to the screen, and hope that neither the machine broke/malfunctioned or the network connection didn't drop. Wouldn't have to worry about either of those issues if there was just an actual human. This is on the level of scanning a stupid QR code to see the menu at a restaurant, but worse. If the QR code doesn't work or the website with the menu goes down, I can at least just go somewhere else. I probably would be anyways because having a physical menu is part of the restaurant experience, and also not everyone's phones can scan stupid QR codes. Mine doesn't. At a financial institution, if the machine breaks or the network disconnects, what happens to my money trapped inside? Do I get it back? Can the few physically present employees get it back? What if I wanted to do a cash withdrawal? I wouldn't have any of these potential issues if there were just a live human being present to process my cash. Some things make sense to have virtual. The teller is not one of them.

I’ve been picking up $40-$60 in quarters about every 3 months since they opened this location and never have had an issue. Came in today and was told they don’t give quarters out and to go to another location. Then one employee said he only had $40 in quarters and could maybe give me 2 rolls.
