- CRCaitlin RobertsAug 7, 20251.0NEVER bank with blaze. My parent opened an account for me when I turned 16, we thought it would be a good idea especially since I just got my first job. About 2 months ago I ended up stop using my card and I called to cancel my card. I was told that I had to pay $14 of an overdraft fee, I paid that fee, and then they told me they would close my account that falling Monday. A month passes and I get told that I have a 400 and something overdraft fee and that I have to pay it before I can close my car. I didn't make any of those charges. I've told them that multiple times, I've called them multiple times. They always tell me they would call me back, they never do. 400 and something dollars to give them. Every time they tell me it's going to be okay and that the charges will be covered, but now I've gotten letters saying that debt collectors are going to be after me. Highly recommend if you're trying to open an account or a savings account for your children. Do not go here!
