- P1prx 18Aug 1, 20243.0ONB needs to improve its fee transparency. I have been a customer at Old National for many years. I recently had to stop a check payment. I went to my account online and it was easy to do; however when I tried to find out how much it costs, there was NO information anywhere on the site about fees, except a note to "check bank fees" to find out the price. I called the bank, asked how much it costs to stop a check, and where/how I could find that information on the website. She told me the fee is $38. When I asked her why that information wasn't readily available when I went through the process of stopping the check, she answered, "because you can also call to stop a check". I asked her how much that costs - same fee of $38. So what difference does that make?? She couldn't provide a reason for why the fees aren't stated at the time of the transaction, or somewhere on a fee list accessible on the site. I told her to please pass on my opinion that this is just more of the deceptive practice that banks are famous for.

- KKKahlie KroellsJun 23, 20191.0I closed all of my accounts at this location over a month ago after the conversion and changed my two automatic payments to my new accounts at Wells Fargo that same day. I just recieved a notice saying they've contacted me several times about the "unsatisfactory status" of my account and that it has been closed and "information may have either been reported to a consumer reporting agency and or turned over to a collection agency. To open a new checking account in the future, you will first need to repay all overdraft balances." Pretty damn funny as I already closed my accounts and I did NOT receive any other notices about it. And, of course, "no one is able to help me at this time" with the number I was provided. This bank is seriously pathetic.
