I’m extremely disappointed with the way I was treated by Hope during my recent visit. She was dismissive, unhelpful, and made no effort to assist me in resolving a charge to my account that I was completely unaware of. I explained that I don’t even use this account and was seeking clarification and support, especially since I had proof showing I had no access to the membership I was charged for.
Rather than trying to help, she repeatedly said there was nothing she could do and that I would need to speak with a banker. When I requested to speak with one, she rolled her eyes and acted as though I was inconveniencing her. This kind of behavior is unprofessional, and quite frankly, unacceptable — especially in a setting where customers are simply seeking help to resolve financial issues. I would expect more understanding and support from a bank representative, particularly when the bank has had to cover a charge on behalf of a customer.

We switched from TCF after many years there with increasingly misleading and frustrating customer service experiences, and finally learning no one at the same branch could give me consistent answers to loan and account information.
The staff at TruStone in Roseville has been always helpful, friendly, reliable and patient with my questions regarding our several accounts. Yes, it is sometimes busy, and the inability to contact the local branch by phone is a pain. But that says more about my patience and expectations than about the quality of service and the level of professionalism I have found every time I have a question, need to have something explained and re-explained, or just stop in to make a deposit.
I can’t imagine going back to TCF, to US Bank, or, God forbid, Wells Fargo.
