  Worst bank I've ever had to deal with. Very unhelpful. Would never recommend.

  4 important pieces of feedback for both the staff and people selecting banks/financial advisors 1) The staff is untrained on how to setup accounts correctly. In my contact info under email, they entered "none". This took 3 days to fix. Under direct phone number, they did not enter anything. This prevented me from adding other external accounts. This took 3 days to fix. In my wife's contact info, they entered her maiden name. Still not fixed. My account setup unprofessionally cost me 6 calendar days of making transactions to get bills paid on time. 2) Be aware it takes 3-5 business days to add an external account. If you need to transfer money for bill or other accounts within the week, this is not the bank for you. All processes seem slower than any other bank I have experienced. I have spent too much admin time attempting to simply setup bill pay. 3) Loan payment information is difficult. I tried paying the loan from an external account. The acct/routing number provided on the loan info is unable to be verified. I had to call to get it fixed - not a great process overall on their banking side. 4) I met with their financial advisor. I am 31 years old and was recommended to put nearly 40% of my net worth into bonds. After meeting with nearly 10 other financial advisors, I was told this was by far the worst strategy for my age and goals. It goes without saying, I personally will be banking elsewhere. This does not mean you will have the same experience as I did, but if you need things done in a timely manner, seek other options.

  The drive thru was always slow as Spire in the old building. Now even being Blaze they are absolutely not any better. If anything worse for being slow in the drive thru. When you pull up before 2:40pm for a simple loan payment. Then don't pull away until 3:06pm. I even asked to have the payment back (stub and cash) to do it a different day. Efficiency is not at this branch location even with the new building. Improvements for drive thru never got better from being Spire in the old building with only one drive thru lane! The excuse then was from having one drive thru lane. What's the excuse now with 3 lanes? Changes are needed. Felt sorry for the other lady in the white car that was there before me and still there when I pulled away.

  I have been with the credit union for 40 years, I have moved from Elk River to Zimmermann and now Princeton, I think this is our final move. I have been so happy, even throughout the name changes. The staff is so friendly and helpful, I love it when I am recognized by name, it really makes me feel like family. I wouldn't even think of changing banks! Keep doing what you're doing what you're doing. It works! Thank you to staff for another great year.
