- ACAndrea CichowskiJul 3, 20253.0I had an issue with Amazon double charging me once a few years ago. Amazon wouldn't ship the order until I changed my payment method. Then I come to find out Amazon did charge me the first time, and I was actually double charged. I disputed the first charge and went to the bank to sign the dispute papers. The personal banker told me I had to dispute the second card used to pay for the order. So, I didn't sign the dispute papers. Amazon finally refunded me the money back from the second charge, but then I got a letter from Bell Bank saying they agreed with me about the dispute, and I would get the money back in my bank account within a few days, so I was double refunded. I got it all straightened out eventually, but it would have been a lot easier if the personal banker would have just let me sign the dispute papers. She said it would be declined, but obviously it wasn't declined.
