  Have had accounts there since it opened, maybe 20 years. First ten, pretty terrific, like you would expect from a neighborhood bank. Last few years...awful. With the exception of one familiar person, everytime I go in, I do not recognize one person. I feel like a stranger in a bank I have used for a very long time. I am probably switching to Comerica which is located between me and Flagstar. Because the employees are always new, nobody is friendly, no one is in the manager's office when I go there, and with the exception of Judy, the asst. manager, who is great but not there all the time, this place sucks!

  Been my bank for many years. No issues at all. Shayanne at customer service is absolutely wonderful - friendly and always remembers my name. Location works great for me. Never too long a a wait. Flagstar has an adequate number of branches in my area. Website is easy to use as well.

  Went there for a simple document notarization, but because their notary is incompetent, he misunderstood what the documents were asking for and turned us away. We had to go to another notary who not only helped us out, but also confirmed that the Flagstar guy didn't know what he was talking about.

  Very pleased. Received my checks. Took a bit of time. Not unexpected, however, I was asked to leave a review BEFORE I received them. Would prefer to have been asked to leave a "review", AFTER I had received the checks (and after my first statement, too). Anyway, seems to be a nice old fashioned style bank. Very pleased.
