Worst bank I have ever dealt with since they where bought. My cards where all shut off with no explanation. The only thing I got out of them is that I didn't inform them I was traveling out of state and I informed them that I live out of state and the response was ohh. They said something about fraud but couldn't tell me what fraud or go over the charges to see if there was even fraud. I still haven't received my new card in the mail and they refused to talk to me and told me I had to go to a branch to resolve the issue. I told them I was 1400 miles away and she hung up on me. This is the 2nd time I was hung up on by customer service. The 1st time is when my cards got shut off and I kept asking what was the fraudulent charges where and they said they couldn't tell me which is weird because I used to get texts to ask if I made certain charges or a phone call from the fraud department asking me about charges.

Karan and Katie are the absolute best. If you’re thinking about opening up a new account or moving your money here don’t look any further. Katie and branch manager Karan will have you covered. They are extremely knowledgeable and very respectful of your time. It is a huge breath of fresh air to finally find a bank and branch that clearly will do everything in their power to help you as fast as possible.

Tried using Flagstar for a bit versus the big banks where I also have accounts like Chase and BofA. However, this bank (not branch specifically) is amateur hour. Their entire system has been down for two days—debit cards aren’t working; can’t transfer funds; can’t pay bills. No heads up from them: no courtesy email saying what’s wrong or when things will be fixed. Their customer service number is 2+ hour wait. Went in to close my account this morning and it’s like they know they have no excuse. Didn’t ask why I was closing, didn’t even try to retain me. I thought they’d be more appreciative of the business but back I go to fully using the national banks.
