The branch manager and assistant branch leader clearly need additional training on how to properly interact with Black customers. I am a Black man with an active account at Flagstar, and I should not be treated like a criminal for simply conducting my own banking business. I have never had this issue at any other branch. The way I was treated today was unacceptable, and this location needs immediate attention and improvement.

I closed my checking account with Flagstar in 2022 due to personal reasons and I needed proof for a cashiers check that I made in 2021. I was not very hopeful of getting much help since I am no longer a customer and looking for a proof for a cashiers check in 2025, but Mariam went out of her way and spend almost an hour on phone talking to concerned people and got me the proof of my cashiers check and when it was encashed.
