- TDTravis DokesMar 28, 20221.0Horrible identity verification. I had to have my identity verified in order to receive a new card after someone had stolen my original card. It has now been 2 months since the incident I have sent my id to capital one many times over the last several weeks and every time they find some reason for it to not be accepted. I just called again for the 29th time literally and was informed that my last fax was never received and that the copy I sent them through the mail was according to them "lost".
