  Came in to open an account and was told I needed to make an appointment for a later date because they had no one capable of doing that at the time while multiple employees sat and stood around. I’ve worked in banks in years previous and we were *always* able to assist with something like this for walk-ins. Waste of time and gas, I’ll take my business elsewhere. The 2.7 star rating should have been a tipoff.

  I was going through the process of getting a mortgage loan getting assistance from their officer Todd Patterson he told me key bank has a program called Key Community where they provide mortgage loans at 0% down and $0 pmi told me the only thing is the interest rate is 7.3%-7.5% after pulling my credit Todd told the only way I can have the 0% down and $0 pmi is I have to purchase a house in a county where they have a bank branch and if I don’t I would have to put down 3% which he did not inform me about until after pulling my credit so after pulling my credit I was approved for the 0% down I found a home outside of a county where they have a branch and after asking for an updated pre approval letter Todd has told me now I would have to put 5% down not 3%. I just want to inform any person that’s looking to purchase their first home and think about going with this bank what their system actually really is what Key Community actually is Todd Patterson is lazy and he withholds information try to make you think you are tied in with this bank you are not and I hope any first homebuyers see this because I will also be sharing my experience on social media and other platforms
