  Horrible customer service, bankers are lazy and don’t want to do their job or try to help you. If they screw up they have to blame it on the customer because they can’t accept if they did anything wrong or could’ve possibly done anything better to actually help their customers. Bank anywhere but Flagstar.

  Employees don’t want to do their job, no wonder they had to merge because they were going out of business. Horrible customer service. If I could leave no stars I would. Called and ordered cash - because the banks are open only 9-5 during business hours for those of us with jobs and only a small window Saturday, I couldn’t pick up the cash until Saturday, which I called to let them know that on Friday. When I arrive Saturday, they said they just closed the vault, sucks to suck I need to come back another time. I arrived at 12:50, apparently they close the vault 15 minutes before close. I had missed it by 5 minuets, and they wouldn’t help me out with opening it back up. Didn’t even bother checking or asking if they could. No one ever thought to tell me I couldn’t pick up cash during their posted open hours because they close the vault earlier than their operating business hours. No one thought to let me know that. So I drive 25 minutes there and I’m told that just sucks I need to come back some other time. Then told ‘can you just do a check’? Dont you think I would have already?? don’t you think I wouldn’t have bothered even ordering the cash and driving 25 minutes to you and 25 minutes back if I could just write a check in the first place?!?! Flagstar employees think asking a bank to do their job of holding cash for one of their customers is a burden. Trying to tell their customers ‘well just do something else don’t use our order cash option just write a check’. Then why do you exist?? What is the point of your branches being open and staffing employees in them?!? Absolutely USELESS. This is the closest branch to me. Done with Flagstar, this is not the first time this has happened, their people just don’t know how to do their job and even when they do, they lack the effort to actually do it. They’re going out of business and people like them are why. I hope they go out of business soon so people can get better customer service from banker that actually give a crap somewhere else. DON’T BANK WITH FLAGSTAR. Update: manager called to make sure I knew it was my fault, said ‘I’m sorry you’re angry’ refused to accept they didn’t tell me the 15 minuet rule which is what made me ‘angry’, continuously cut me off, then hung up on me. Do not bank with them. I’m looking into moving all my funds over to PNC and closing my Flagstar accounts. Not worth it when even managers do that to you that was literally unreal I was talking to a 13 year old that still doesn’t understand accountability so anything that went wrong must have been the customers fault.
