- CLCharlene LambertDec 13, 20251.0So I open a saving/ checking account @ the Urbandale, Credit Union. I was giving checking to cash from a friend, I met on line, and they were bad checks....so I called about them on the phone and asked the gentleman if he could help me find out about the checks I received. He said no, but to go to a branch office and talk to someone their. I proceed to my branch office asked to talk to someone, and the lady told me to come in, I tolded her what the man on the phone said, about asking for someone to help me here about the checks. She told me that " They would never have told me that !" Ok, I took my phone and hit redial on my phone to talk to someone on the line to prove to this lady I wasn't making that up. She said ok, I might be able to do something. We'll, she called the bank where the checks came from and found out they were bad. I told the lady at the desk, Here, I dont want nothing to do with the checks.... I brought everything that came with the checks in the the office. Everything was ok when I left. I go to use my debt card they put a block on it so I couldn't use it. They said I was a fraud!!!! UNBELIEVABLE, REALLY IF THAT WAS THE CASE I WOULD HAVE GONE SHOPPING WITH THE CHECKS !!!! THE LADY IN THE OFFICE WAS RUDE!!! AND THEY ARE THE WORST CREDIT UNION I HAVE EVER HAD. THEY MADE ME GET A DIFFERENT BANK/ CREDIT UNION TO GO TO. YOU'RE TRULY A UN HAPPY BANKER !!!
- LMLori MinerOct 28, 20252.0Honestly, I"ve always been happy with Honor but since they have changed to a new online system I have had nothing but problems. I have spent hours on the phone trying to get issues resolved, and getting booted off of the system. Now i received a notice that my payment to my credit card (not an Honor credit card) was declined because they said I have insufficient funds which is not true at all. Now I am again waiting on the phone to speak to a representative. It used tot be that you could call the branch you go to and speak to someone there now you have to go thru a centralized call center.
